Styling a tie-dyed tulip skirt with a lightweight pink sweater.

This tie-dyed tulip skirt was rented from Nuuly because I was planning to bring it on our trip to Florida. Since that never happened, I decided to shoot it for the blog. I cannot resist tie-dye!

Tie-Dyed Tulip Skirt from Anthropologie

As I said up above, this skirt was going to be part of my spring break attire. I was going to wear it with a white tee and sandals. Since this trip never materialized, I adapted and wore my lightweight crossover sweater tucked in instead. The pumps polished off the look and made it appropriate for a possible work look. (That’s not happening either but maybe by June? ) I am obsessed with this pretty tie-dye print because it’s subtle. The colors are so perfect for the Easter season we are in. The button front is an interesting and flattering detail as well. Are you a fan of tie-dye prints?

Life Lately

I’m finally getting used to everyone being home and we have a rhythm to our days. (I do miss my alone time sometimes. Do you feel that too?) My husband is getting a lot of projects done around the house and my younger son is the puzzle king. My oldest son’s spring break got cancelled so he is mostly doing homework, practicing, and trying to figure out his college situation. We have the school picked out but assessing the scholarships that came in. I hope to share with you all soon where he is going. Many colleges have extended their deadline to make a decision which the coronavirus pandemic. Who even knows if they will start on time?

Prom (for the time being) has not been cancelled (they found a later date) and they are sticking with the same graduation date for late May. Keeping my fingers crossed that both of these events happen. We will be okay if they don’t happen. They sent a questionnaire to all the seniors asking what they preferred for graduation. It was crazy because one of the choices was having a drive-by graduation where they would get their diplomas as they drive by in the car. It might come to this!

How are you all doing? Is there anything you are struggling with or is there something amazing that is coming out of all of this? I would love to hear.

Have a wonderful weekend at home! XO
