Poncho Sweater with a Side of Chanel by Kathrine Eldridge, Wardrobe Stylist

It’s finally time to bring out my new handbag and cuff that I received for Christmas from my hubby. (I am one blessed lady!) This poncho sweater with a side of Chanel is what’s on the menu today.

Poncho Sweater

I usually am not a fan of ponchos. Sometime they can be too voluminous and make you look bigger than you really are. Not the case with this chic sweater. The sleeves give the illusion of a poncho but it is truly a sweater. It grazes right off the body so you still can see your shape. There is a nice balance between the turtleneck and 3/4 sleeves. (Perfect sleeve to show off my cuff.) You are covered up but not completely.

I have worn this sweater mostly with jeans but I wanted to show you how to dress it up. Since its shape is loose, I paired it with this fitted faux leather mini skirt. The fishnets and over the knee boots keep me warm enough to wear this outfit for a night on the town. This look can be perfect for Valentine’s Day because of the burgundy over the knee boots. What do you think?

Chanel Baby

This Chanel bag has been on my wishlist for years. My sister helped Michael pick out the one she knew I wanted. Since I tend to really wear out my bags, I mentioned that I wanted it in the more durable leather which is pebbled and not as soft as lambskin. This beauty will be with me for the rest of my life so it needs to last. I only pull it out for the blog or for when we go out at night. The rest of time it’s in its elegant duster and nestled nicely in a Chanel box. (Maybe I should put it in a display case? Lol!)

The cuff was an extra bonus. I adore it’s mix of edge and elegance which totally describes my style. Michael knew he couldn’t pass it up when he saw it. He’s got a knack for gifts!

Have a fabulous week! XO
