Perfect Print Mixing for Fall by Kathrine Eldridge, Wardrobe Stylist

Sharing some perfect print mixing for fall. That title is really opposite of what print mixing is. It’s not a perfect science but it’s worth diving into to create new and exciting looks.

How to Mix Prints

Mixing prints is not as hard as you would think. My suggestion is to find prints that have similar color palettes if you are unsure. Don’t be matchy-matchy perfect like the title. Find maybe one or two colors that are similar and the go for it! Keep the contrasting prints grounded in the look by pairing them with neutrals. (My neutrals are the skinny jeans, tan sandals, and black bag.)

In this outfit, I really went with opposing prints color-wise. I usually don’t go crazy with mixing but when I saw these two pieces next to each other in my Nuuly box, I knew I wanted to be daring. The floral camisole is so pretty but it’s getting hard to wear something like this alone moving into fall. Adding the tie-front sweater gave the look just enough warmth to wear out. I had to share a pic of the just the camisole alone because it’s so pretty. There are gold metallic details in the print that you can’t see in these images.

What do you think of my unique combination of prints?

My Curateur Box (Box of Style’s New Name)

I’m really excited about the new box that came from Rachel Zoe this season. She changed the name of the subscription and is offering more perks to members with this change. If you want to know more about Curateur, click here. Here is what came in this box.

  • Rachel Zoe Collection Tote
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Glow in Perla
  • Kat Burki Form Control Marine Collagen Gel
  • Eddie Borgo Supra Link Collar Necklace
  • Eddie Borgo Supra Link Earrings (Choice Item)
  • Le Specs Neptune Sunglasses (Choice Item)

I decided to go with the earrings instead of the sunglasses and I’m so happy that I did. They look great worn with the necklace. Both pieces have such a luxe vibe and really pop when worn together. The tote is fabulous and and I’m excited to try the highlighter from Anastasia. The skincare product is coming later because of an issue with shipping because of Covid.

My mom saw the box when she came over and now she wants it for her birthday. If that doesn’t give it the seal of approval, I’m not sure what will. It’s almost $400 worthy of product for under $100! Click here to get yours.

Have a fantastic week! XO
