My Favorite Fall 2019 Trends by Kathrine Eldridge, Wardrobe Stylist

It’s time to start talking about what’s on the horizon for this season. I went online and just googled top fashion trends this fall for women. This is what was mentioned in the first article I clicked on: capes, asymmetrical necklines, moody florals, leather on leather, smart suits, lace, jewel tones, plaid, cozy outerwear, and leopard print. Keep reading to find out what my favorite fall 2019 trends are.

A quick note – The trends below I believe are the most versatile and classic of all that I mentioned above. Several of these have already been around and don’t show any signs of stopping.

Asymmetrical Necklines

I can never get enough of this type of neckline. It’s has a bit of edge which is just my style.

Moody Florals

Dark florals work in almost any season. If you want to make your floral top or dress look more casual, add a knit cardigan or leather jacket to change up the vibe.

Black lace is always elegant and classic. Why not change it up with color for a new take on this trend?

Jewel Tones

Jewel tones are the perfect coloring for my complexion so this couldn’t come at a better time. Not sure about wearing a bold jewel tone color? Do an accessory instead of a piece of clothing.

Leopard Print

I saved the best for last. Leopard prints just give you confidence when you wear them. Even if this trend goes away next year (I don’t think it will though), you can plan on it coming back. If you tend to wear all black, leopard is a great to make your look pop without out adding major color.

So what’s your favorite trend for this fall season? Let me know in the comments and have a great day! XO
