Cowl Neck Cool with Stripes by Kathrine Eldridge, Wardrobe Stylist

This cowl neck cool with stripes top is now my favorite casual piece of my fall wardrobe. The cute stripes on the sleeves just make me happy. Finding joy in little details like this help me through some of the rough days we have been having lately.

Blooming Jelly Striped Tunic Top with Cowl Neck

I mentioned my love for Blooming Jelly in Monday’s post. Their tops are comfy, cool, casual, and not costly. (Almost got the 4 C’s!) Those qualities are pretty much all we need at this time with the pandemic. You probably have noticed that most of my posts lately have been with jeans. That’s all I’m really wearing at this point.

This tunic caught my eye right away because I am obsessed with cowl necks. They keep me warm and don’t hug my neck uncomfortably like turtlenecks. I also think cowl necks give the illusion of elongating your body. It’s a style of top you need in your closet this season!

Who can resist the stripes on the sleeves? Also, I had to have this top because of the dark grey color. (Heather grey washes me out.) When you see a $16 top with all these lovely details, you go for it.

I’m Fluting with the Stars!

I am so excited to report that I won a spot in a flute masterclass that is happening this Sunday. I sent in a video playing a flute solo piece called Kokopelli by Katherine Hoover. Hearing that I got one of the three spots for this masterclass was the highlight of my week. This is what I’ve been working so hard for. I would love to see some familiar faces on this Zoom masterclass. If you are interested, click here to go to the Chicago Flute Club’s website. All the details are there. Please send prayers and good vibes my way. I hope to play to the best of my ability and learn during the process.

Have a fabulous weekend! XO
