Charcoal Floral Dress for Spring by Tobi

This charcoal floral dress for Spring by Tobi is an item that I can’t wait to wear. Because of the cut out at the waist and the short length, I am saving it for the warm weather. (Yes, I bared the cold to share it with you all!) The dark grey color mixed with the sweet florals print make it a good dress to transition into Spring with.

Taking a Risk with Tobi

Tobi reached out to me and asked to share some of their pieces here on the blog. I was hesitant because many of their items are very fitted and short. These sweaters were a no-brainer because of their tunic style but I get nervous  about showing too much skin with me being over 40. That thought left after a moment because why not accept the challenge and find ways to make fashion my own.

The key with such a short dress like this is to chill out on the high heels. I decided to go with my mules that have a shorter heel. If you really wanted to go casual, try some sneakers. The comfy sneakers trend is here to stay so go ahead and embrace it if you are all about comfort. I’m warming up to this trend.

The plunging neckline was the major challenge in this look. (The gals are just not that perky.) It’s important to stay tasteful so I went for my trusty cami bra. It adds a pretty lace detail and gives me the lift and coverage that I need. Every woman needs this type of bra in her arsenal.

Recommendations for Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks

Spring break is slowly approaching for our family and the plan is to visit Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. Our goal as a family is to visit as many national parks as possible before our boys move out of the house. (It’s coming way too fast!) Have you been to these parks and if so, what are your recommendations? What are your plans for spring vacation?

Have a fantastic week!
