Boho Chic Suede Boots by Kathrine Eldridge, Wardrobe Stylist

These boho chic suede boots caught my eye when Nordstrom came out with their Anniversary Sale catalog. They sure didn’t disappoint when I saw them in store. Yes, they are pricey but the quality and style (plus the extra savings) pushed me over the edge. Read on to see why these will go the distance in your wardrobe.

Stuart Weitzman Lafayette Slouch Boots from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Never one to miss an opportunity to go boho chic, I brought out this old vest out so I could show off these incredible boots. In my opinion, one can never have enough tan boots. Wear this color now and in the fall as well. The pointier toe is so flattering but didn’t crush my toes. I was a little apprehensive about the slouchiness because it brought me back to my growing up in the 80’s but when I saw them worn with different outfits, I had to go for it. How amazing will these look with a black mini skirt?

I have one word of warning. Spray these beauties with suede protection spray immediately because of the extremely light color. For something this expensive, you need to go the extra mile and protect them from the elements. I am a suede lover and use this type of spray on all my boots and I don’t have any problems. If you are still freaked out about getting a boot in this color, it comes in black as well.

I finally convinced my husband to put his company on Instagram. He was an old fart for awhile because he refused to be a part of this social channel. Since his aquarium business has grown, he realized that sharing his and his partner’s aquariums on Insta can help grow their business as well as help them find quality aquarists if necessary. They do aquarium maintenance for many of the Bass Pros and Cabela’s around the country and the name of their company is L2 Aquariums. Follow them here and thanks for your support! Fun fact – When Michael worked for Sea World in his earlier years, he got bit by a shark and has the scars to prove it.

Have a terrific week! XO
